I grew up on the West Coast of the South Island.
I graduated in Medicine from Otago University in 1992. I trained in General Practice in both New Zealand and the UK before returning to start work at Petone Union Health for 17 years.
I am a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of GPs. I have been working as a locum for the last year and enjoyed my time at Newlands with its great organisation and team, so am very happy to be starting a permanent role here.
I am a generalist but have an interest in Chronic Disease management, reducing inequalities and palliative care.
Usual days: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
