In an effort to help contain the spread of Covid-19 we were instructed yesterday to make changes to how we see patients, and to dramatically reduce the number of patients we see face-to-face.
From Monday 23rd March 2020 we will only be seeing patients in person when it is deemed clinically necessary by one of our doctors or nurses.
We will be phoning all patients in advance, or at a mutually agreed time, and treating you over the phone where possible and where safe to do so. Please be prepared to have a discussion of your symptoms with the clinical team. If we can safely treat you without you having to come in then this is the best outcome for you and our team at this time.
Please be reassured that we will see you in person if we determine it necessary.
If you are asked to come to the medical centre for an appointment please only bring ONE support person with you. We need to limit the number of people coming into the practice in order to maintain as healthy an environment as possible and minimise any potential contact tracings.
Until we are able to source a safe place to administer these all flu vaccinations are on hold. We are looking into alternative premises to keep well patients away from the medical centre at this time.
Please DO NOT phone us regarding flu vaccinations. We will advise via Facebook and our website once we are able to start accepting bookings.
THESE are unusual and unprecedented times, and we are navigating the fast-changing information as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience and we respectfully request your consideration of our team at this challenging time.
